Mother/Daughter Manicures
Machella and I went and got manicures on Friday. I had a gift certificate to a day spa that Donnie gave me last Mother's Day that I never used and has been on our refrigerator for almost a year. Machella mentioned that she would like to get a manicure so I decided we would use the gift certificate and go and have mother/daughter manicures. I am not big on other people doing my nails, but I knew Machella would enjoy it. The lady doing my nails wasn't really into it, but thankfully the lady that was doing Machella's nails was great and asked Machella if she wanted flowers and she really got into it. She even put little blue rhinestones in the center of each flower. Machella was thrilled and I think she is hooked on the whole manicure thing. I hope her nails will stay as nice as possible for as long as possible. I on the other hand have already taken my polish off and am back to my plain, nondescript nails that I try to not draw any attention to.

that is so funny... sounds almost exactly like me... my neighbor gave me a gift certificate to get pedicure and manicure, and I finally used it the day before it expired... took Brianne with me too, and Brianne loved it also... I prefered the pedicure! but the fun part was going with my daughter, and doing something the boys wouldn't do! Glad Kella loved it too!
I love her nails. I am like Amy - not crazy about manicures but pedicures are the best! Thanks Aunt 'Nez for introducing/coercing me into trying them.
So cute! I hope Megan doesn't see this. I don't think I'd hear the end of it until I took her to get a manicure!
