The summer really flew by. It seemed like yesterday that the kids were just getting out of school. Davey and Kella were ready to go back ... they love school and I'm sure that the summer was too long for them. Davey is excited to be in the 5th grade and it's hard to believe that Kella is already in the 3rd grade. When we moved to Bakersfield she was only 4 years old and still in preschool.

It's hard ot believe the summer is over! We have 2 more weeks before school starts, but the girls are ready to go back. Before we know it, they'll be driving themselves to school on the 1st day!
Wow, was Machella really only 4 when you guys moved to Bakersfield? Maddie wants to know who Machella's teacher is. And I can't believe that in 2 years Davey will been in Junior High. Time is just flying by!!
