We took a few days to just get away from the Bakersfield heat and chill on the beach. Davey and Kella had no problem getting in the water ... but the twins both preferred all the beach they could run around on for hours.
It was fun getting up and walking the beach the next morning after breakfast. The weather was cool enough to wear a sweatshirt, but as you can see in the picture, Joshua was a real trooper and refused to wear anything but his T-shirt. He really enjoyed the walk on the beach on his daddy's shoulders (and so did his dad).
Joshua and Lyssie loved running around all afternoon and playing in the sand.

Looks fun - we were just talking about Pismo Beach the other day. We have pictures of all the kids hanging on our wall from our visit there for David's baptism. And now it's Kella's turn. Crazy! The twins are already so big!
